NinjaTrader Trade Copier: One Entry Across Every Account
NinjaTrader runs on Tradovate's infrastructure — which means its accounts can be copied cloud-side, no machine running NinjaTrader required. Here's the whole flow.
The detail that makes a NinjaTrader trade copier possible without touching your desktop: modern NinjaTrader brokerage accounts run on Tradovate's cloud infrastructure. Orders, positions, and account state live server-side — so a copier can connect to the account itself rather than to software running on your machine. No NinjaTrader desktop session has to stay open, no add-on gets installed, and nothing depends on your PC surviving the trading day.
That's exactly how MirrorChain connects: you click Connect NinjaTrader, approve access on the broker's own secure login page (OAuth — we never see your password), and your accounts appear in the dashboard ready to copy. The full pipeline is the same one covered in Tradovate copy trading, because it literally is the same rails.
One leader, every account in lockstep
Pick one account as the leader — trade it from MirrorChain's chart or from any platform you like. When it opens a position, every enabled follower mirrors the entry within the copy cycle; when the leader exits — manual close, stop, or target — each follower's matching position closes on its own account. Exits propagating is the part that matters most: it's what keeps a follower from riding a position the leader already left.
Sizing respects how futures actually work: whole contracts, scaled to each account's balance relative to the leader. Trade 3 MNQ on a $150k leader and a $50k follower takes 1 — proportional risk with no per-account math at entry time.
The guardrails funded accounts need
Most NinjaTrader multi-account setups exist because of funded-account programs, and funded accounts live and die by daily loss rules. MirrorChain's risk rails run server-side per account: set a daily-loss limit and the moment realized-plus-floating P&L crosses it, that account locks and its positions are flattened — even with your screens off. A locked account stops receiving copies until the lock clears; the rest of the group keeps following.
Every closed round-trip lands in the trading journal automatically with its realized P&L, so reviewing a five-account day takes minutes, not spreadsheet archaeology.
Getting started
Connect a demo account first if you want to watch the flow risk-free — demo and live behave identically. Then build your group, set per-account risk limits, and trade the leader as you normally would. The futures trade copier page has the full feature rundown, and pricing starts with a free trial. One honesty note: NinjaTrader and Tradovate accounts are supported today; Rithmic-based platforms aren't yet — check supported platforms for current coverage.
