MirrorChain ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. MirrorChain is non-custodial — your broker holds your funds, and we never take custody of them.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password. We use these to authenticate you and to associate your settings, connections, and trade history with your account.

MT5 Connection Data

When you connect a MetaTrader 5 account, we process the login, server, and password needed to establish the connection through our broker-integration provider (MetaApi), along with the resulting account data (balance, equity, positions) and the trades placed through the Platform.

Usage Data

We collect anonymized usage data including pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns to improve the Platform. This data is not linked to your identity.

Subscription Data

If you purchase a subscription, we collect the payment information needed to process it and your email address for receipts. Card details are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • Personal identification documents
  • Social security numbers or government IDs
  • Full payment card numbers (handled by our payment processor)
  • Any data from accounts you have not connected

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the Platform
  • To display your connected accounts, trade history, and analytics
  • To place and mirror the trades you execute across your enabled accounts
  • To send trade and account notifications you have opted into
  • To process subscription payments
  • To improve the Platform based on anonymized usage patterns

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption at rest and in transit. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Preferences and cached data are stored locally in your browser via localStorage and are never transmitted to third parties.

6. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party services to provide our functionality:

  • MetaApi — our broker-integration provider, used to connect to your MT5 accounts
  • Your connected MT5 broker (for account data and trade execution)
  • Our payment processor (only if you purchase a subscription)
  • Telegram (optional — only used if you enable Telegram notifications)

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

7. Cookies & Local Storage

We use localStorage to store your preferences (theme, sidebar state), cached data for performance, and notification history. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Disconnect any MT5 account or sign out at any time
  • Clear all locally stored data through your browser settings
  • Request deletion of any server-side data associated with your account
  • Export your trade data in a portable format (CSV or JSON) from the Manage Data page

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the Platform. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
