1. Overview

MirrorChain ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. MirrorChain is non-custodial — your broker holds your funds, and we never take custody of them.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password. We use these to authenticate you and to associate your settings, connections, and trade history with your account.

Trading Account Connection Data

When you connect a MetaTrader 5 (CFD) account, we process the login, server, and password needed to establish the connection through our broker-integration provider (MetaApi). When you connect a futures account (Tradovate or NinjaTrader), we process the OAuth token or API credentials you provide, stored encrypted. In all cases we also process the resulting account data (balance, equity, positions) and the trades placed through the Platform.

Analytics & Advertising Data

Subject to your cookie consent, we use Google Analytics, Google Ads, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand how the Platform is used and to measure our advertising. These tools collect usage data such as pages visited and actions taken, and may set cookies and receive identifiers (including a hashed version of your email for conversion measurement). You can accept or decline these via the cookie banner, and change your choice at any time from the footer.

Subscription Data

If you purchase a subscription, we collect the payment information needed to process it and your email address for receipts. Card details are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • Personal identification documents
  • Social security numbers or government IDs
  • Full payment card numbers (handled by our payment processor)
  • Any data from accounts you have not connected

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the Platform
  • To display your connected accounts, trade history, and analytics
  • To place and mirror the trades you execute across your enabled accounts
  • To send trade and account notifications you have opted into
  • To process subscription payments
  • To improve the Platform based on anonymized usage patterns

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption at rest and in transit. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Preferences and cached data (such as theme and sidebar state) are stored locally in your browser via localStorage and are not, in themselves, transmitted to our servers or third parties.

6. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party services to provide our functionality:

  • MetaApi — our broker-integration provider, used to connect to your MT5 accounts
  • Your connected broker (MT5, Tradovate, or NinjaTrader) for account data and trade execution
  • Stripe and NOWPayments — payment processors (only if you purchase a subscription, by card or crypto)
  • ZeptoMail — email delivery, used to send account, security, and billing emails
  • Google (Analytics & Ads) and Meta (Facebook Pixel) — analytics and advertising, subject to your cookie consent
  • Cloudflare — content delivery and network security for the Platform
  • Telegram (optional — only used if you enable Telegram notifications)

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

7. Cookies & Local Storage

We use localStorage to store your preferences (theme, sidebar state), cached data for performance, and notification history — this is essential to the Platform and is not used for tracking. In addition, and only if you consent via the cookie banner, we and our providers (Google, Meta) set analytics and advertising cookies to measure usage and ad performance. These are off by default until you accept, and you can withdraw consent at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Disconnect any MT5 account or sign out at any time
  • Clear all locally stored data through your browser settings
  • Request deletion of any server-side data associated with your account
  • Export your trade data in a portable format (CSV or JSON) from the Manage Data page

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the Platform. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
