Everything you need to connect your MT5 accounts, mirror trades across all of them, and make the most of every feature.

Getting Started

MirrorChain is a copy-trading platform for MetaTrader 5 prop-firm and CFD accounts. It connects through your broker's API — your broker always holds the funds, and every order carries a broker-side stop-loss and take-profit.

1

Connect an account — On the Connections page, add your MetaTrader 5 account (login, password, server). Add as many prop-firm or CFD accounts as you like.

2

Open the Command Center — See a live chart, per-account balances, and one-tap BUY/SELL controls in one place.

3

Trade & mirror — Place a manual order and it fans out to every enabled account at once with the same entry, SL and TP — sized per account.

Connecting Your Accounts

On the Connections page you manage every connected account. Each card shows live balance, equity, free margin and open P/L, plus a "Receiving orders" toggle.

  • Add an account — Enter your MT5 login, investor/master password, and broker server. Connection is handled securely server-side via MetaApi.
  • Multiple accounts — Add as many as you need. Trades fan out to every account whose "Receiving orders" toggle is on.
  • Active account — Mark one account as active; its positions and chart overlays drive the Command Center.
  • Pause an account — Toggle "Receiving orders" off to stop an account receiving new trades while keeping it connected. Your primary account can't be paused or removed unless it's the only one connected — switch the primary to another account first.
  • Per-account lot size — Each account trades its own lot, so the same trade is sized appropriately for each prop-firm or CFD account.
  • Account currency — Every balance, equity and P/L figure is shown in that account's own currency. Where MirrorChain combines accounts (such as the Command Center total), it converts to your primary account's currency at live rates.

Command Center

The Command Center is your live chart and execution desk — everything you need to place and manage trades in one screen.

  • Live chart — Candlesticks for any instrument, with EMA/SMA/RSI overlays, a multi-timeframe trend table, and your choice of timezone and 12h/24h clock.
  • One-tap execution — The BUY/SELL buttons place a market order instantly across all enabled accounts, using the lot in the on-chart stepper. SL/TP are derived automatically (ATR-based, with a take-profit multiplier and a margin-risk cap).
  • Open positions — Every open position for the active account in a live table. Drag the SL/TP lines on the chart or close from the table, and the change mirrors across accounts.
  • Risk-aware — Orders are refused on any account that has hit its risk lock, so a locked account stays flat (see Risk Management).
  • Accounts by copy group — The side panel lists your live per-account balance, equity, free margin and open P/L, organised by copy group (leader and members) so you can see at a glance what's being copy-traded. Each account is shown in its own currency, and the combined Total P/L is converted to your primary account's currency at live rates.

Trade at your own risk

Execution places real orders on your live accounts. Test on a demo or small account first, and make sure your lot sizes and risk limits suit each prop-firm's rules.

Multi-Account Mirroring

Mirroring copies a single trade across all your connected accounts at once. Place it from the Command Center and it lands on every account whose "Receiving orders" toggle is on.

  • Same levels, per-account size — Entry, SL and TP are identical on every account; only the lot size differs.
  • Broker-side protection — SL and TP are submitted to each broker, so a position is protected even if your connection drops.
  • Mirrored modifications — Dragging an SL/TP line, or closing a position, applies to the matching position across accounts.
  • Pause anytime — Turn off "Receiving orders" on any account to exclude it from new trades, without disconnecting it.

Risk Management

Set guardrails per account on the Risk page so a bad day can't run away from you.

  • Daily loss limit — When an account's realized loss for the day reaches your limit, MirrorChain locks it: new orders are refused and open positions are flattened.
  • Daily profit target — Optionally lock an account once it is up by your target, to protect a green day.
  • Automatic reset — Locks lift on their own at the start of the next trading day (5:00 PM New York rollover). Daily P/L is tracked per account and survives restarts.
  • Manual lock / unlock — Lock or unlock any account yourself at any time.

Journal & Analytics

Every position your accounts close is recorded automatically — there is nothing to import by hand.

  • Dashboard — Equity curve, win rate, profit factor, net P/L, average win/loss, max drawdown, and a monthly P/L calendar.
  • Daily & Weekly — Realized P/L broken down day-by-day and week-by-week, with green-day counts.
  • Strategy — Tag each trade with a strategy and compare net P/L, win rate and profit factor per playbook.
  • Manage Data — Export your full trade history as CSV or JSON anytime, strategy tags included.

Groups

A copy group is how you define a copy-trading relationship: a leader account whose trades are copied onto its member accounts. Group your accounts however you like — for example, one funded account leading several prop-firm challenges.

  • Leader & members — Name a group, pick one leader account and the members that copy it. The leader can't also be one of its own members.
  • Copying or Paused — Flip a whole group on or off at once. While it's on the group shows Copying; turn it off to Pause copying without deleting the group.
  • Accounts must be enabled — An account only receives copied trades while its "Receiving orders" toggle is on. A disabled account can't be a group leader, and any disabled member is flagged so you know it won't be copied until you re-enable it.
  • See it on the Command Center — Your accounts panel is laid out by group, with the leader marked and each member listed, so it's always clear what's being copy-traded.

Economic Calendar

The Calendar shows the week's high-impact economic events (sourced from ForexFactory), grouped by day with impact levels — so you can step aside before red-folder news instead of trading into it.

Notifications & Alerts

The bell in the top bar surfaces in-app alerts. You can also enable browser push and Telegram alerts in Settings, and send a test message to confirm your Telegram bot is wired up.

Notifications are stored locally and persist across sessions — mark them as read, delete individual alerts, or clear all.

Settings & Data

The Settings page lets you customize:

  • Notifications — Sound, browser push, and Telegram (bot token and chat ID, with a test button)
  • Chart preferences — Timezone and 12h/24h clock for the chart axis and times
  • Connection status — Your active MT5 connection, with a shortcut to the Connections page

To review or export your recorded trades, head to Manage Data under Journaling.
